Calvin "Fleet" White, 98, of Santee SC, husband of the late Birtie Washington White, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 at Uni/Health in Moncks Corner, SC.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Sept 2, 2013, at Rock Hill AME Church, Holly Hill, SC with the Rev. Robert Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Katie Martin cemetery.

Mr. White was born in the Providence community, the son of the late Samuel (Estelle) White, Sr. Four children preceded him in death Mary Lee Gilliard, Ellouise Doctor, Catherine White and Roosevelt "Shot" White.

Surviving are his children Evangelist Muriel Williams of Holly Hill, Dorothy Hilliard, Everlou White, Johnny White, and Walter White of Santee, Herbert (Lula) Hilliard of Elloree, Marion (Adele) Harmon of MD. Catherine (Phillip) Davis of GA reared in the home; 39 Grandchildren, 80 Great Grandchildren and 35 Great Great grandchildren.
