Mrs. Daisy Bell "Jo Ann" Sellers of 2123 Felderville Rd., Santee died peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg.

Daisy Bell Sellers, daughter of the late Hampton Williams and Eartha Bell Williams, was born May 26, 1944 in Orangeburg County. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Gantt and two brothers, Henry Lee Williams and Willie Jr. Williams.

She received her formal education in the public schools of Orangeburg County.

In her youth, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful member of the Senior Choir until her health declined.

She was joined in holy matrimony to the late James Clay Sellers and this union was blessed with six children.

"JoAnn" was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Daisy's love for life and family will be manifested through her three loving daughters, Bobbie Kay (Belford) Oliver, Janet (Andrew) Evins and Mary Sellers Sumpter, all of Santee, SC; three caring sons, James B. (Tonya) Sellers and Lance T. Sellers, both of Santee, SC and Anthony Sellers of Butner, NC; six devoted sisters: Zannie (Andrew) Void of Columbia, SC, Martha (Prioleau) Davis, Cora (William) Amaker and Pearly M. Whaley, all of Santee, SC, Mae Garrett of Elloree, SC and Barbara Joyner of Conway, SC; five faithful brothers: John C. (Mary) Williams and Fernell Williams, both of Santee, SC, Samuel (Alice) Williams of Washington, DC and Hampton (Jeanette) Williams of Bridgeport, CT; three sisters-in-laws, Lutricia Sellers of Far Rockaway, NY, Albertha Williams of Washington, DC and Catherine Williams of Pompano Beach, FL; four brothers-in-law, Charlie Sellers and Frank Sellers, both of Orangeburg, SC, Thomas Bookhart of Virginia Beach, VA and Curtis Williams of Bridgeport, CT; a special friend, Mary Elmore of Santee, SC; twenty-nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sellers will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 3425 Old State Rd., Santee with the Rev. Michael A. Wright, Sr. Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the Island Cemetery, Santee, SC.

Visitation is scheduled on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home of Elloree.
