Ms. Georgia (Sis) Ellis Oliver of 300 Thrower Lane, Santee, died at her residence on December 21, 2015.

Georgia Mae Ellis Oliver, a daughter of Mrs. Margaret Nelson Ellis and the late Samuel Ellis was born November 2, 1959 in Miami, FL.

She attended the Public Schools of Elloree, SC and was a 1984 graduate of Voorhees College, Denmark, SC with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

After relocating to New York, she attended ManPower of New York and completed a program in Shorthand. She was later employed by ManPower.

Upon her return to South Carolina, she was employed by KFC as a Manager for 26 years until her health failed.

She was a member of Greater Friendship AME Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kernell Oliver, her father Samuel Ellis, and one brother Kim Ellis.

Those left to cherish her memories are a loving daughter Kim Oliver of the home; a step daughter Tammy Evans of Santee; her Mother Margaret Nelson Ellis of Santee, SC; four (4) brothers, Harvey (Izet) Nelson of Holly Hill, SC, Rev. William (Dora) Ellis, Motento Ellis, and McSeto Ellis all of Santee, SC; two (2) sisters, Michelle (Willie) Johnson, of Santee, SC and Denise (Cornell) Davis of Orangeburg, SC; five sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; one uncle Daniel (Mary) Welfare of New York, NY and one aunt Josephine Ellis Williams of St. Matthews; two step grandsons, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Ms. Oliver will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Greater Friendship AME Church, 3669 Tee Vee Road, Santee with Rev. Willie H. Brown, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the Dantzler Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled Friday, December 25, 2015 from 4 to 6:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home of Elloree.
