Mr. Morris Guess, Jr. of 125 Cyclone Drive, Santee died on Friday June 5, 2015 at the Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg.

Mr. Morris "Mr. Good" Guess was the son of the late Ulysses and Catherine Guess. He was born December 18, 1939 in Orangeburg County.

At an early age he joined the Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Santee, SC. Morris attended the Elloree Public School.

In 1957, he married the late Albertha Profit and to this union they were blessed with eight children, three which preceded him in death (Bobbie Ann, Howard and Charlie).

He was a loving person who loved people, especially his family and friends.

He leaves to mourn his passing four daughters, Norma (Franklin) Abraham, Katherine (Johnnie) Butler, Mary Sellers all of Santee, SC, and Flossie Glover of Orangeburg, SC; four sons, Bobby (Sandra) Guess of Vance, SC, LeRoy (JoAnn) Guess of Hill Point, NC, Curtis, and Anthony Glover of Orangeburg, SC; one aunt, Emma Lee Johnson of Santee, SC and one uncle, Mr. Thomas Guess of Vance, SC; a Special God Mother, Mrs. Lillie Mae Keller; one god sister, Shirley Keller of Santee, SC; two god brothers, Norman Jr. Keller and Rev. Glen Keller both of New York City; one sister-in-law, Warren Jean (Sam) Gantt of Santee, SC; two brothers-in-law Samuel (Jennifer) Profit of Detroit, MI and Mayfield (Twanda) Profit, of Maryland; 20 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. A special granddaughter LaQueria Collier of Columbia, SC. Two special friends, Larry Rhodes and Jame Johnson, both of Santee, SC.

Funeral services for Mr. Guess will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 3425 Old State Rd., Santee, SC with Rev. Michael A. Wright, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the Island Cemetery, Santee, SC.

Visitation at Williams Funeral Home of Elloree is scheduled from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2015.
