Mr. Ricky "Crow" Johnson of 220 Reuben Court, Santee, SC died on April 23, 2015.
The late Mr. Ricky "Crow" Johnson 52, was born in Orangeburg, SC on December 28, 1962 to Bertha Ann Johnson and the late George Thrower. He was reared in the home of the late Jessie Mae Ravenell and Walter B. Ravenell. He entered into eternal rest on April 23, 2015 after a brief illness.
He was educated in the Holly Hill Public School System. He was employed by Petti Construction Company and many other construction companies throughout his life, Those of us who knew Ricky knew that he had a heart of gold. He was loving and caring and would help anyone that he could.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife Carolyn Johnson, his daughters Nakale Jackson and Angel Jackson, his son Michael Jackson, and two grandsons Markus Jackson and Jaylin Shuler all of Santee, SC. One sister Brenda Johnson of New Haven, CT, 8 nieces, Sophia Johnson of Spartenburg, SC, Rhonda Johnson of Boston, MA, Patra Drury, Jessica Drury, Alexis Drury all of New Haven, CT, Nicole (Ellis) Robinson, Angela Johnson, and Alfreda (Samuel) Profit, all of Bridgeport, CT, and Stephanie Johnson of Philadelphia, PA, 2 nephews Laterrius (Cassandra) Johnson and Teagan Drury all of New Haven, CT, 3 special cousins and caretakers Greta Ravenell, April Ravenell and Josephine (Velord) Abraham all of Santee, SC and a very special little girl that he loved dearly Little Miss Sunchyne Benjamin of Santee, SC and a host of uncles, aunts, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the First Providence Baptist Church, 320 Mt. Olive Rd., Santee, SC, with the Rev. Lonnie Robinson, Pastor officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in the Dantzler Cemetery, Santee, SC.
Visitation at Williams Funeral Home of Elloree is scheduled on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
Friends may call at 2391 Bass Drive, Santee, SC or the funeral home.
