Susie Mae Stokes' Obituary
Susie M. Stokes of 736 Linwood St., Elloree, died on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at the Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg.
Sue Mae, as she was affectionately known, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur (Susie) Bookhart.
She is survived by her husband Harry Lee Stokes, her five children, Harry (Essie Mae), Howard (Karen), both of Elloree, Christopher (Tonya) of Rock Hill, SC, Belina of Cleveland, OH, Patricia of Elloree and Barbara of Columbia, SC, 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah Bookhart of Elloree, Mildred Bookhart of New York City, one sister-in-law, Mildred K. Bookhart of Atlanta, GA as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends and a special grand niece Jasmine Bookhart.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Granger Baptist Church, 280 Carriage Hill Road, Elloree, SC with the Rev. Edward Prince officiating.
Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home.
