Mr. Willie Lee Jefferson of 121 Gentry Lane, Santee, died on December 21, 2015 at Palmetto Health Richland, Columbia, SC.

Mr. Willie "Stuffy" Jefferson, son of the late Ada Jefferson and Cephus Davis, Sr. was born May 11, 1941 in Santee, SC.

He grew up in the Jack Branch Community and attended the Providence School. At an early age Willie joined the First Providence Church where he served faithfully until his health failed.

Willie was employed by Sanders Brothers in Summerville, SC.

He was preceded in death by three (3) brothers, Johnny Lee Davis, Sr., Cephus Davis, Jr., and Richard Davis; five (5) sisters, Nell Brown, Lizzie Lee Smalls, Elease Clinton, Leana Fludd, and Floresa Smith.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: a loving daughter, Annie Louise (Michael) Askew of Bridgeport, CT; two loving sisters, Lucille (Ed) Ravenell, Santee, SC and Ucerlee Hamilton, Holly Hill, SC; one sister-in-law, Elease Davis, Santee, SC; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; two precious children that he mentored, Amonte Keitt and Shawn Hill; a host of wonderful nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Jefferson will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, December 26, 2015 at First Providence Baptist Church, 320 Mt. Olive Road, Santee with the Rev. Lonnie Robinson, Pastor officiating. The casket will be placed in the church at 11:00. Burial will follow in the Katie Martin Cemetery, Holly Hill, SC.

Visitation is scheduled at Williams Funeral Home Friday, December 25, 2015, from 4 to 6:00 PM.
