Mrs. Willie Lee "Tugar" Pelzer, 86, of 107 Ann Street, Elloree, passed away at her residence on May 9, 2020.

She leaves behind to cherish her love and precious memories nine children; four sons: Harold Pelzer of Elloree, SC, Dana (Sandra) Pelzer of Orangeburg, SC, Stanley (Annie D.) Pelzer of Columbia, SC, and David Lee Dukes of Bamberg, SC; five daughters: Shirley Pelzer, Patty Ann Johnson and Virginia Lee Bonaparte all of Elloree, SC, Carol Pelzer of Columbia, SC, and Rosa (Ervin) Adams of New York, NY; three brothers: Warren Dukes of Holly Hill, SC; George (Maggie) Hart, Jr. of Cameron, SC and Thomas Hart Elloree, SC; twenty grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren; two grandchildren raised in the home Terrance Johnson and Antonette Pelzer; Brother in-law: Earnest (Sarah) Shuler of Elloree, SC; special children: Evan Dukes, Carolyn Dukes, Johnny Dukes, and Lucille Dash all of Elloree, SC; Irma Adams and Charles Franklin both of Orangeburg, SC; special cousins Lottie Rodney, Minnie Sumpter and Victoria Goodwin all of Elloree, SC, and Harry Dukes of Charleston, SC; God children: Delores Warren, Jerrod Murphy and Terrell Whaley and a host of nieces nephews and cousins.

Graveside services for Mrs. Pelzer will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Mt. Zion AME Church, 2879 Old Number Six Hwy, Elloree, SC, with Rev. Roberta Jackson the pastor officiating.  As we adhere to the COVID-19 precautions, the graveside service will allow for no more than 10 immediate family members.

Drive Thru Viewing is scheduled from 3 to 7 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at Williams Funeral Home of Elloree.

The family requests brief and limited visits by close friends during the hours of 5 to 7 pm.  Friends may also call at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mt. Zion AME Church, 2879 Old Number Six Hwy, Elloree, SC, 29047.
